With disciplined routing and decent RNG, you can complete nearly all stages in under an hour. The only true grind component is Candleberries, which we’ll address separately with event-specific optimization.

Container Priority:

  • Green kitchen drawers – Best source for cookware and candle holders
  • Rusty breachable boxes – Water Filters
  • Bottom floors – Industrial Battery potential
  • Beds – Durable Cloth chance

There are three apartment complexes along this stretch. Loot them thoroughly. Do not skip container types—density is high enough that most players complete residential objectives in one pass.

  • Raider Camp (Critical for Water Filters & Baskets)

Near the apartments is a Raider camp.

Why it matters:

  • Multiple breachable boxes (Water Filters)
  • Raider baskets (especially during Snow/Cold Snap variants)
  • Potential Candleberries

Always breach everything. This zone frequently supplements Water Filter requirements and may reduce future grind.

  • Hydroponics Complex

Move to Hydroponics after finishing the apartments.

Loot Focus:

  • Industrial Battery (common here)
  • Water Filters
  • Mushrooms (from water areas)
  • General industrial containers

Search:

  • All shelves
  • Breachable containers
  • Iron-domed buildings
  • Larger water pools (mushrooms spawn here)

You need 7 Mushrooms total, and Hydroponics is a consistent source.

Expect duplicates at this stage—that’s intentional. This route over-secures industrial components to offset RNG variance.

  • Pipeline Tower → Control Tower → Primary Facility

Transition underneath toward the Primary Facility.

Here you’ll find:

  • Additional breachable boxes
  • Backup Industrial Battery chances
  • More Water Filters

If you still need Light Bulbs before extracting, check the secondary white car near the Water Treatment.

Then extract via elevator.

Focus Areas:

  • Trash cans → Film Reels
  • Residential containers → Music Albums, Coffee Pots

Duct tape drops rapidly here; most players complete that requirement within a single raid. At this stage, the project is nearly finished except for event-specific components.

Fireball Banners – Fast Completion Method

You need to collect Fireball banners from Fireball enemies.

Fastest Locations:

Stella Montis – Business Center

  • High Fireball density
  • Often already eliminated by other players
  • Low combat requirement

OR

Sandbox

  • High spawn frequency

Pro tip:

Use a cheap loadout and place 3 banners in your safe pocket immediately. Even if you die, you’ve secured 1/3 of the objective in minutes. This task can be completed in under 10 minutes.

Candleberries & Mushrooms – Event Optimization

This is the grind portion.

Best Method: Spaceport During Cold Snap

Run the outskirts of the map.

Look for:

Raider baskets

  • Fruit baskets
  • Raider caches (audible ticking noise when nearby)

Cold Snap increases athe ccessibility of breachable containers holding Candleberries.

Additionally:

  • The trench tree in Spaceport always spawns mushrooms
  • New focused runs typically complete:

All Mushrooms

  • Majority of Candleberries

Backup Method: Bluegate (Cold Snap)

If Spaceport Cold Snap isn’t active: Go to the Olive Grove area in Bluegate.

Inside buildings:

  • Raider baskets
  • Fruit baskets
  • Raider caches (Cold Snap breachable)

Listen for ticking audio cues. It significantly reduces search time.

This step is RNG-heavy but manageable within several snow raids.
